Fiction

Writing fiction opens my head, relieves me of the tyranny of fact. I can say what a place could be like, give a person a body, thoughts, and some quirks—and decide what could happen. Conversations in a story are fun because characters in fiction are allowed to say what real people think but don’t allow themselves to say.
